Itinerary

The group tour starts at Delhi where it is comfortably driven to Haridwar. Following the checks in and rest at the hotel, in the evening pilgrims go to the Ganga Aarti which is held at Har Ki Pauri. The view of floating diyas and chants of devotions is very spiritual. Overnight and dinner at Haridwar. That has been the spiritual start of the Char Dham Yatra at Haridwar, one of the holy cities in India. The calmness in the Ganga flows downstream of the Ganga ready for the pilgrims of the holy journey ahead.

 

The group then goes to Barkot, the Yamunotri base after breakfast. On the way, it is possible to make brief stops at Mussoorie or Kempty Falls. Barkot is a serene place with green hills. Overnight and dinner at the hotel. The picturesque journey along mountains and gullies gives superb Himalayan scenery. Before starting the Yamunotri pilgrimage A halt Barkot offers a soothing and invigorating rest.

 

The group is driven in early morning to Janki Chatti where Yamunotri trek starts. Pilgrims have an option of pony or palki services. At Yamunotri Temple, the followers worship Goddess Yamuna and have a sacred bath at Surya Kund. To dinner at Barkot and stay over night. Yamunotri which is a shrine of the Goddess Yamuna is encircled by mountains and natural hot springs. The sacred environment renders the pilgrimage to be more spiritual to all religious people.

 

The group then moves on to Uttarkashi, a sacred town located on the shores of Bhagirathi River after breakfast. Pilgrims go to Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple in the evening. Dinner and stay at Uttarkashi.  Uttarkashi is a religious city that is characterized by temples and religious significance. The gurgling shores of the Bhagirathi River are an addition to the religious experience.

 

The group goes to Gangotri, via the picturesque Harsil Valley. In Gangotri Temple, pilgrims are able to pray at the source of the holy Ganga and bathe in the river. Go back to Uttarkashi to have dinner and stay over. The source of sacred River Ganga is Gangotri which has great religious importance. The group then drives to Guptkashi, which is located on the banks of the Mandakini River after breakfast. At night, go to the Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight and dinner in Guptkashi. Guptkashi is a holy pilgrimage town that is associated with Lord Shiva. It has scenic beauty as well as religious atmosphere and it is a perfect place to visit before Kedarnath

 

The team then moves to Sonprayag where the trip to Kedarnath starts. Pilgrims can take the help of helicopters or pony/palki. The Kedarnath Temple and evening Aarti in the midst of snow-white mountains. Back to Guptkashi and have dinner and stay over. Kedarnath, which is one of the twelve Jyotilingas, is a very majestic place in the Himalayas. The divine feeling about the temple gives pilgrims spiritual fulfillment.

 

Kedarnath Temple Morning darshan and Aarti. The group visits Badrinath after breakfast through Joshimath where they have a spectacular view of the mountains. The pilgrims also have a holy dip in Tapt Kund and evening darshan and Aarti at Badrinath Temple on arrival. Overnight stay in Badrinath. Badrinath, the seat of lord Vishnu is a significant component of the Char Dham. The temple with its location in snow-white mountains gives breathtaking religious feelings.

 

Following breakfast, the group goes to Mana Village, the final Indian village, which is close to the China border. Pilgrims visit Vyas Gufa and Ganesh Gufa, which is associated with ancient Hindu myths. Then move on to Rudraprayag, the meeting point of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Dinner and overnight stay. The village of Mana is full of mythology and natural beauty. The confluence of the two sacred rivers in Rudraprayag also makes the pilgrimage even more spiritual

 

The group then returns to Delhi after breakfast through Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers unite to create the Ganga.
