Evening Plan: In the evening, visit the magnificent India Gate, a 42-meter-high stone arch built as a war memorial to Indian soldiers. The evening is filled with children flying kites, locals having picnic lunches, and food stalls selling yummy things like ice creams, bhel puri, and chaat.

Morning Attractions: Start the morning at the Red Fort, World Heritage monument of Emperor Shah Jahan. Kids would love to walk through its courtyards and museums nostalgically bringing alive Mughal history. Visit Jama Masjid, India's biggest mosque. Climb its minaret for a bird's eye view of the bustling streets of Old Delhi. Experience a retro rickshaw ride along Chandni Chowk, the old bazaar famous for its congested, narrow lanes, colorful shops, and street foods too irresistible to deny. A stopover at Paranthe Wali Gali is imperative—children will enjoy the tasty array of stuffed parathas with chutneys and pickles. Rest at Raj Ghat, a peaceful memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
