Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Traditional Welcome to the Capital

Upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport or railway station, our tour representative will receive and help you check-in to your pre-booked kid-friendly hotel. After undergoing proper formalities, unwind and relax after the journey.

Evening Plan: In the evening, visit the magnificent India Gate, a 42-meter-high stone arch built as a war memorial to Indian soldiers. The evening is filled with children flying kites, locals having picnic lunches, and food stalls selling yummy things like ice creams, bhel puri, and chaat.

Later, take a short drive to Connaught Place, the liveliest shopping and dining complex of Delhi. Visit the bazaar, shop for clothes, toys, and books, or enjoy a heavy dinner at one of the many family-style restaurants offering a range of Indian and international dishes. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Old Delhi Heritage Tour – A Glimpse into the Past

Breakfast and preparation thereafter for the day of adventure and discovery, while you unearth the forgotten history of Old Delhi.

Morning Attractions: Start the morning at the Red Fort, World Heritage monument of Emperor Shah Jahan. Kids would love to walk through its courtyards and museums nostalgically bringing alive Mughal history. Visit Jama Masjid, India's biggest mosque. Climb its minaret for a bird's eye view of the bustling streets of Old Delhi. Experience a retro rickshaw ride along Chandni Chowk, the old bazaar famous for its congested, narrow lanes, colorful shops, and street foods too irresistible to deny. A stopover at Paranthe Wali Gali is imperative—children will enjoy the tasty array of stuffed parathas with chutneys and pickles. Rest at Raj Ghat, a peaceful memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. The peacefulness of the black marble slab and soft flame is a moment for contemplation. Nearby, also see the National Gandhi Museum, photographs, displays, and multimedia presentations from Bapu's life – informative and inspiring for children.

Optional Visit: If time allows, do visit Kidzania in Noida – a world-class, indoor theme park with an interactive, role-playing city where children can experience real-life careers in a city designed especially for kids.

Return to your hotel for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 3: New Delhi Discovery – Monuments, Museums, and More

Start the day after a good breakfast by witnessing the architectural marvel and historical heritage of New Delhi.

Qutub Minar: Gaze in awe at this 73-meter high minaret amidst the remnants of bygone days – play and learn time for kids studying India's medieval past. Humayun's Tomb: The forerunner to the Taj Mahal, this Mughal garden tomb complex is an eyesore for the interior designer with symmetrical gardens, fountains, and red sandstone walkways. Lotus Temple: The flower-shaped building, this Bahá'í House of Worship, opens its doors to people from all religions. It's a calming spot to unwind and grab a respite. Afternoon Delight: Select two educational attractions, based on what fascinates your family: National Science Centre: A monolith among Indian science museums, featuring hands-on displays that encourage children to learn through play and experimentation.

Nehru Planetarium: A stargazer's delight. Sky theatre movies are an interactive experience and enable kids to see the planets, stars, and solar system in an interactive and amusing manner.

Evening Plan: Spend the evening at Dilli Haat, an open-air crafts bazaar showcasing the arts, cuisine, and culture of different states of India. Have a mix of local food and buy ethnic attire, accessories, and handmade toys. The liveliness of the surroundings and colorful stalls will impress every member of your family.

Day 4: Cultural Immersion & Nature's Delight

After breakfast, dedicate one day to spirituality, relaxation, and nature.

See the breathtaking Akshardham Temple, an icon of new India architecture. The temple complex has in store: Exhibition Halls depicting ancient Indian history in the form of audio-visual presentations.

A peaceful boat ride that takes you through vignettes of Vedic life, ancient discoveries, and cultural heritage.

A music fountain show (in the evening, if overnight stay). Visit the Lodhi Garden, a serene green oasis filled with old tombs, hues of flora, and pathways – perfect for a picnic or quiet relaxation. Later, visit the National Zoological Park, where children can look out for lions, elephants, deer, and birds from different parts of the world. Day 5: Farewell Delhi – Departure with Sweet Memories

On your departure day, take your time over a relaxed breakfast. Depending on the timings of your flight or train, you may spend some time on last-minute shopping at Sarojini Nagar Market, Janpath, or Select Citywalk Mall and obtain last-minute gift items, outfits, or mementos.
