Kedarnath and Badrinath Yatra is a religious pilgrimage to two of the most sacred temples in India, which are dedicated to God Shiva and Lord Vishnu. It is a 6-day journey in New Delhi, which is a blend of spirituality, natural beauty, and adventure in the Himalayas.

You begin your trip in Haridwar with the popular Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, which puts you into a spiritual mood immediately. It is then a yatra to Guptkashi, the base town of Kedarnath, and then to Kedarnath Temple, which is situated between snow-capped mountains. Then you will go to Badrinath Temple, have a holy dip at Tapt Kund and explore the peaceful environment of Mana Village. The tour ends with a trip back to Delhi and you are spiritually rejuvenated and inspired.

Itinerary

Start off at Delhi, drive to Haridwar. Take picturesque scenery of plains and hills. Go to your hotel and take a rest. During the evening, observe the Ganga Aarti at the Har Ki Pauri where thousands of diyas are floating on the sacred river with the chants and bells, which is a divine feeling. Go back to hotel, have dinner and stay. This is the best package of Kedarnath & Badrinath Yatra. One of the most sacred cities in India is the entrance to the Char Dham Yatra called Haridwar. The serene shore of the Ganga and religious ambience get you ready to the holy pilgrimage you are going to.

 

Starting with breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, passing by beautiful scenery and rivers. Guptkashi is a quiet town located along the Mandakini River and the starting point of the Kedarnath pilgrimage. Check-in at your hotel, rest, and in the night, go to Ardh Narishwar Temple of Lord Shiva. Overnight and dinner at Guptkashi. It is assumed that one of the places where Lord Shiva had resided in the period when he was avoiding the Pandavas was Guptkashi. It is enclosed by mountains and the Mandakini river which provides a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

 

Early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. This is where you can walk, ride a pony, use a palki or you can use helicopter to Kedarnath (approximately 18 km). Experience the evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple, a spiritually elevating experience in the midst of Himalayan mountains. Dinner and stay at Guptkashi.The Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotlingas and it is located in the Himalayas. This is the most unforgettable of the yatra because of the divine power of the temple and the scenic beauty.

 

After breakfast, take a drive to Badrinath through Joshimath, and have a spectacular view of the mountain. Upon arrival, perform a holy dip in Tapt Kund which is a holy spring of hot water. Pay Badrinath Temple and get a darshan of the deity and experience the evening Aarti which is the divine presence of Lord Vishnu. Get into your hotel and have a rest. Badrinath is a religious temple of Lord Vishnu and also a significant component of the Char Dham. The colorful design of the temple on the snowy mountains background makes it divine.

 

Breakfast at Mana Village which is the final Indian village before the Chinese border. Visit Vyas Gufa and Ganesh Gufa, both of which are related to Hindu mythology. Go on to Rudraprayag, a holy town at the junction of the rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Book in hotel, have a relaxing stay and spend the night in Rudraprayag. The last Indian village on the border is full of mythology and nature with Mana Village. The river confluence in Rudraprayag gives your stay a spiritual insight

 

Breakfast, and then drive back to Haridwar, by Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and the Alaknanda join to form the sacred Ganga. Go on to Delhi and complete your Kedarnath and Badrinath Yatra with memories of the Himalayas and spiritual experiences that you will never forget.
