Itinerary

Reach at Haridwar or Rishikesh and get into your hotel. Following the travel, rest and refresh. During the evening come to the Ganga Aarti in Har Ki Pauri (Haridwar), or at Triveni Ghat (Rishikesh). The river has a peaceful and religious atmosphere with the bells of the temple, the songs, and the diyas there. Another thing you can do is that you can walk along the river and visit some of the markets or small cafes around. You can enjoy the environment around you and then start your trip to the Himalayas tomorrow. Go back to the hotel and have dinner and rest. Haridwar or Rishikesh Overnight stay.  

 

Breakfast and then drive to Sari Village, a small silent Himalayan village in a forest and mountain-filled area. Along the road, take pleasure in the picturesque scenes at the confluence of rivers at Devprayag and Rudraprayag. On arriving at Sari, start a short 2-3km walk to Deoria Tal. The path is not difficult and is beginner friendly. Hike up mountain trails and inhale mountain air. Deoria Tal is a lake of high elevation which on clear days mirrors the Chaukhamba mountains. Relaxation along the lake, photography, and nature. Return to Sari Village in the evening and have dinner and stay overnight in a guesthouse or camp.  

 

Breakfast, then drive to Sari then to Chopta often referred to as the Mini Switzerland of India. The trip passes through thick forests, twisting streets and peaceful valleys. Upon arrival, get into your camp or cottage and have a rest. Chopta is surrounded by breathtaking scenery of snow-white Himalayan mountains and large green meadows. Afternoon is to be spent in a brief walk in nature. During the evening, you can have the relaxing mountain atmosphere and see a beautiful sunset over the mountains. During clear nights, a number of stars are visible. At the camp dinner will be taken. Overnight stay in Chopta.  

 

Rise early in the morning and take breakfast and then begin the walk to Tungnath Temple. The hike is approximately 3.5km on a tarmac trail and suitable for novice climbers. Explore Tungnath, the world highest Shiva temple, and it is encircled by massive Himalayan mountains. Prayers and a silent moment at the temple and then proceed with the 1.5 km walk to Chandrashila Summit. On the summit, there are panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedarnath, and Chaukhamba mountains. Spend some time on the peak and then hike back to Chopta in the evening. Take your rest in camp, at the end of this satisfactory day. Overnight stay and dinner at Chopta.  

 

Delight after breakfast, drive to Joshimath or Rudraprayag. The expedition demonstrates the beautiful river valleys, woods and small mountain villages. Upon arrival, you will check in your hotel and sleep after some trekking days. You can also visit the local temples or go to the local markets at night. This day will be spent on leisure and easy travelling, following the adventurous journey to Tungnath and Chandrashila. Take pleasure in the serene mountain environment and the air. The dinner will be taken at the hotel. Overnight at Joshimath/ Rudraprayag.
