Itinerary

Reach Haridwar and go into your hotel. The day is kept slow, relaxing and easy to get used to, as Haridwar is the most sacred city of Hinduism, where the holy river Ganges flows. One evening, go to the Ganga Aarti, such a heartfelt ceremony when lamps, chants and prayers fill the atmosphere at Har Ki Pauri. The scene of praying of faithful people on the river shore evokes the strong spiritual feeling. Go back to the hotel and rest and reflect. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

 

After breakfast, shall proceed a short distance to Rishikesh. On arrival, check in your hotel or ashram-style hotel. Go to Parmarth Niketan, or other ashram to discover more about the philosophy of yoga and regular spiritual practices. Cross Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula, taking in the tranquil riverbanks freshness.
